The Five Identified Capabilities in SACE - 871 Words
Studying as a year 10 student, the next few years of school are extremely important to my future and planning is essential because it will make major changes in future life. There are 5 identified capabilities in SACE which students should aim and focus, to achieve a successful outcome. The idea of these guidelines of communication, citizenship, personal development, work and learning is to help connect learning with the personal attributes needed to live, work, be an active person and outshine in society. There are 5 identified capabilities in SACE, which includes communication, citizenship, personal development, work and learning. These are all introduced in the Personal Learning Plan usually studied in year 10. The idea is to help connect learning with the personal attributes needed in future life, such as live, work, and be an active person in society. Students should aim to achieve all capabilities to be a better person. The capability of communication is an essential skill in daily life. Communication is the activity of conveying knowledge through the exchange of thoughts, messages and information by verbal expression, visuals, signals, writing, or manner. It is any act by which one person gives to or receives from another person information about that persons necessity, desires, perceptions, knowledge, or affective states (mood, feeling, attitude). The communication process is accomplished once the receiver understands the senders idea.
